• Everybody who trains, teaches or is treated here is entitled to be safe, and to be treated with respect.
• Anyone attending as a model must be 18 or over, and we verify that with evidence before a session rather than taking it on trust.
• Nobody is treated without giving informed consent first, and consent to a treatment is recorded separately from consent to be photographed.
• Where a treatment involves a prescription-only medicine, there is a prescriber and a record for that person and that session. No record, no session.
• Trainers hold current professional registration, and we check it rather than assume it.

Tell a trainer or a member of the office team the same day. You do not need to be certain, you do not need evidence, and you will not be asked to investigate anything. Say what you saw or heard.

If somebody is in immediate danger, ring 999 first and tell us afterwards.

1. It is recorded, with the facts as you gave them.
2. It goes to the named safeguarding lead, who decides what has to happen and who else has to know.
3. Where there is a duty to refer to the local authority or the police, we refer. That decision is not ours to negotiate.
4. We tell you that it has been dealt with. We may not be able to tell you what was decided, because that will usually be somebody else's private information.

Nobody is penalised for raising a safeguarding concern in good faith, and that includes staff.
